About the Company

Seaside childcare centre which follows the Reggio Emilia teaching practices and aims to inspire

Toys, equipment, furniture and outdoor areas all used on a developmental basis to support the
overall wellbeing of every child. Dramatic play, art, music, construction, numeracy, literacy, and
STEM (Science, Technology Engineering and Mathematics) will also be embedded through the
educational program with the appropriate resource selection.

About The Role

Seeking educators for a renowned service located less than a 5-minute drive from the beautiful Coogee beach... add some sea breeze to your lunch break! Various shifts available, helping handle busy personal life schedules. Ensure the smooth running of a room in a childcare centre.

Responsible for the guidance and support of assistant educators, students and trainees. Create programming which utilises the EYLF and follows the NQS. Actively creating observations of children and accurately documenting. Liaise with parents through daily interaction by providing feedback on children's progression and milestones reached.

Skills & Experience

  • ACECQA-approved Diploma

  • Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain one)

  • Strong Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

  • Strong Knowledge of the National Quality Standards (NQS)

  • Permanent Resident or Citizen

  • Effective communication skills

  • Warm personality


  • National Police Check (valid within the past 6 months)

  • Any additional certificates, eg. First Aid / CPR

As part of your role, you will be working with young children and those who are vulnerable.

It is your obligation to always ensure their safety and report any concerns that you have, in line with our duty of care obligations.

You will be required to regularly provide the necessary

● Working with Children Check

● 2 x Reference Checks from previous manager and colleague
