About the Company
OSHC service which is located on the site of a Primary School in East Fremantle. Service that operates with multiple locations across Western Australia has been running for 15+ years. The service supports the Reggio Emilia philosophy where all children are seen as competent, curious, imaginative and resourceful. The service sees the inclusion of the family as an important part of a child’s development.
This service in Fremantle holds a strong continuity of educators who collaborate with the school’s community in order to provide a safe, fun environment for the children. Challenging and interesting activities are put forward to the children daily, as well as a weekly visit from an external facilitator, eg. a Zumba coach or Martial Arts trainer.
About The Role
Seeking an OSHC manager who will need to hold an ACECQA-approved relevant qualification such as a Diploma or Certificate IV in Educational Support. OSHC Manager will need to live locally or be happy to commute to East Fremantle every day.
Looking for someone who can work Monday to Friday for split shifts. Due to this a candidate who owns a car is preferred/recommended. OSHC experience is needed, with hopefully management or Room Leader experience.
OSHC Manager will need to be able to provide and offer a fun, learning, programme that is reflective of children and other educator's collaboration.
Skills & Experience
ACECQA-approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a Certificate IV in Educational Support
Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain one)
Strong Knowledge of my time, my place
Strong Knowledge of the National Quality Standards (NQS)
Permanent Resident or Citizen
Effective communication skills
Warm personality
Desirable
National Police Check (valid within the past 6 months)
Any additional certificates, eg. First Aid / CPR
As part of your role, you will be working with young children and those who are vulnerable.
It is your obligation to always ensure their safety and report any concerns that you have, in line with our duty of care obligations.

2 x Reference Checks from previous manager and colleague
