About the Company

A primary school looking for an OSHC Coordinator to help with school drop-offs and pick-ups.

Our facilities are surrounded by generous playground areas shaded by trees, patios, verandas, playground equipment, an undercover assembly area, two basketball courts, cricket nets, a tennis court and; a football oval and soccer field. All buildings are air-conditioned.

We are well-resourced and have numerous additional programs to support the needs of all students.

About The Role

Involved in drop-offs and picks ups, and admin duties throughout the day may be required. Lead OSHC educators to plan, implement, assess and review a high-quality and diverse educational program based on the Framework for School Aged Care “My time, Our Place”. Ensure the safety of children and staff is maintained, as well as ensure the service is following the NQS.

Assist the Director with administration and promotion of the centre.

Skills & Experience

  • ACECQA Approved Diploma Qualification (or working towards qualification)

  • Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain one)

  • Strong Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF),

  • Strong Knowledge of the National Quality Standards (NQS)

  • Permanent Resident or Citizen

  • Effective communication skills

  • Warm personality


Desirable

  • National Police Check (valid within the past 6 months)

  • Any additional certificates, eg. First Aid / CPR


As part of your role, you will be working with young children and those who are vulnerable.


It is your obligation to always ensure their safety and report any concerns that you have, in line with our duty of care obligations.



You will be required to regularly provide the necessary

  • Working with Children Check

  • 2 x Reference Checks from previous manager and colleague
