About the Company

Purpose-built centre with large open spaces with large open spaces, natural lighting, large windows and high ceilings. 4 rooms in the centre that have easy access to the outdoor area.

The children in each 4 rooms are grouped according to their development and/ or age. The service encourages play-based learning with a strong focus on nature.

Large outdoor area which includes natural trees, musical instruments and small gardens which includes tree stumps, logs, rocks and water. A wide range of opportunities are provided to the children in order to connect children back to nature, as well as stimulate creativity and encourage development.

About The Role

Responsible for day to day routines, such as communicating with parents, implementing nap and lunch times and keeping the environment safe and clean. Carrying out play-based learning, utilising the EYLF and complying with the NQS, in order to prepare children for school.

Skills & Experience

  • ACECQA approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a Certificate

  • IV in Educational Support

  • Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain one)

  • Strong Knowledge of my time, my place

  • Strong Knowledge of the National Quality Standards (NQS)

  • Permanent Resident or Citizen

  • Effective communication skills

  • Warm personality

Desirable

  • National Police Check (valid within the past 6 months)

  • Any additional certificates, eg. First Aid / CPR


As part of your role, you will be working with young children and those who are vulnerable.


It is your obligation to always ensure their safety and report any concerns that you have, in line with our duty of care obligations.


You will be required to regularly provide the necessary

  • Working with Children Check

  • 2 x Reference Checks from previous manager and colleague
