About the Company
Non-for-profit service which devotes time with each child and family, ensuring experiences offered are tailored to the individual, providing exceptional education and learning experiences.
Service provides 3 different rooms which all promote the importance of sustainability of resources with elements such as water pranks, solar panels, recycling units and exposed timber floors.
Every room connects children visually and physically to the outside environment with a strong focus on play where everything is documented on Storypark.
About The Role
Seeking educators to join a fantastic team at a centre located in an even better location! Childcare centre located by the beach... enjoy a lunch time stroll on the beach. Responsible for day to day routines, such as communicating with parents, implementing nap and lunch times and keeping the environment safe and clean. Carrying out play-based learning, utilising the EYLF and complying with the NQS, in order to prepare children for school.
Skills & Experience
ACECQA-approved Diploma (or working towards)
Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain one)
Strong Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
Strong Knowledge of the National Quality Standards (NQS)
Permanent Resident or Citizen
Effective communication skills
Warm personality
Desirable
National Police Check (valid within the past 6 months)
Any additional certificates, eg. First Aid / CPR
As part of your role, you will be working with young children and those who are vulnerable.
It is your obligation to always ensure their safety and report any concerns that you have, in line with our duty of care obligations.
You will be required to regularly provide the necessary
● Working with Children Check
● 2 x Reference Checks from previous manager and colleague
