About the Company
Non-for-profit service which devotes time with each child and family, ensuring experiences offered are tailored to the individual, providing exceptional education and learning experiences.
Service provides 3 different rooms which all promote the importance of sustainability of resources with elements such as water pranks, solar panels, recycling units and exposed timber floors.
Every room connects children visually and physically to the outside environment with a strong focus on play where everything is documented on Storypark.
About The Role
Active supervision of all children, ensuring the correct ratio is maintained. Assist educators in documenting and overall helping children reach their milestones. Ensure a safe and stimulating physical environment where all staff and children are protected from hazards or harm.
Skills & Experience
ACECQA-approved Certificate III
Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain one)
Strong Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
Strong Knowledge of the National Quality Standards (NQS)
Permanent Resident or Citizen
Effective communication skills
Warm personality
Desirable
National Police Check (valid within the past 6 months)
Any additional certificates, eg. First Aid / CPR
As part of your role, you will be working with young children and those who are vulnerable.
It is your obligation to always ensure their safety and report any concerns that you have, in line with our duty of care obligations.
You will be required to regularly provide the necessary
● Working with Children Check
● 2 x Reference Checks from previous manager and colleague
