About the Company

Seaside childcare centre which follows the Reggio Emilia teaching practices and aims to inspire and delight every day. The team of certified early learning specialists are trained in the Reggio Emilia approach, building an environment where your child feels safe to experiment, learn at their own pace and have fun whilst doing it.

The service holds the same values – listen, love, laugh and learn – at the core of everything we do. Our teaching supports every child as they develop self-awareness, gain independence, and learn about the world around them.

Toys, equipment, furniture and outdoor areas all used on a developmental basis to support the overall wellbeing of every child. Dramatic play, art, music, construction, numeracy, literacy, and STEM (Science, Technology Engineering and Mathematics) will also be embedded through the educational program with the appropriate resource selection.

About The Role

Seeking educators for a renowned service located less than a 5-minute drive from the
beautiful Coogee beach! Add some sea breeze to your lunch break!
Various shifts available, helping handle busy personal life schedules. Responsible for the running of the centre.
Duties include, but not limited to, scheduling, staff coordinating, progression tracking and general
overseeing the education taking place.

Skills & Experience

  • ACECQA approved Diploma

  • Centre Director experience or strong experience working as an Assistant Director

  • Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain one)

  • Strong Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

  • Strong Knowledge of the National Quality Standards (NQS)

  • Permanent Resident or Citizen

  • Effective communication skills

  • Warm personality

Desirable

  • National Police Check (valid within the past 6 months)

  • Any additional certificates, eg. First Aid / CPR

As part of your role, you will be working with young children and those who are vulnerable.


It is your obligation to always ensure their safety and report any concerns that you have, in line with our duty of care obligations.


You will be required to regularly provide the necessary

● Working with Children Check

● 2 x Reference Checks from previous manager and colleague
