The Centre:

Our Client is an ​innovative ​​Early Learning Centre that is embarking on a journey to redefine the future of early learning through the emphasis on speech and communications, healthy food, caring, and an active lifestyle. Programs such as dancing, language, sports, and yoga, offering a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow and learn to their full potential. In addition, they grow their own organic fruit and vegetables, as this forms part of the children's understanding of food and its origin! 

The centre is licensed for up to 90 children per day but is currently in the growth stages having only been open since 2019. They have an outstanding team culture that supports work-life balance and working mums. The Approved Provider is a Speech Pathologist, which has supported the centre in creating an extensive inclusive environment. 

The Opportunity:

Your role will require you to:

  • Establish, nurture and foster collaborative partnerships with families and communities to achieve quality learning and development outcomes for children
  • Establish, nurture and foster strong relationships with children to achieve quality learning and development outcomes
  • Ensure daily communication to families about their child’s day – communication diary, emails etc.
  • Partake in professional performance and practice strategies to improve performance capabilities and further professional learning
  • Ensure the inclusion and equality of all cultures and backgrounds at your centre
  • Engage in shared, sustained interactions with children which build warm, trusting relationships
  • Complete curriculum planning sheets and reflections to ensure the curriculum decision-making process is fully and appropriately implemented.
  • The full planning cycle must be evident on a continual basis


  • Minimum of 6 months experience in the Early Childhood Education setting
  • ACECQA Approved Certificate III, Diploma or ECT OR working towards
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Strong level of verbal and written communication
  • Strong Knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and
  • Current approved First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Current approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
