About the role:
The Director drives the delivery of the company's strategic objectives of quality early childhood education and care while ensuring the overall wellbeing of staff and financial stability and viability of the Centre are met.

Your key duties will include but not limited to:

  • Manage the day to day operations of the Centre in line with legislative requirements, company policies and procedures
  • Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to all staff
  • Ensure that high quality early learning programs are delivered by a passionate team of Educators
  • Manage staffing rosters efficiently
  • Effectively manage the financial requirements of the centre in line with budget guidelines
  • Deliver consistent high quality standards for centre presentation and work practices
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with educators, families, children and the local community
  • Ensure you are actively attracting, converting, and retaining families by effectively managing and overseeing tours, enrolments and orientation in conjunction with our Team
  • Manage marketing portfolio

Skills & experience

  • Minimum of Diploma level Early Childhood qualification
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience as a Centre Director/Nominated Supervisor in an Early Childhood setting
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • COVID 19 Vaccination Certificate
  • Current National Police Clearance Certificate
  • Current Medical Clearance
  • Current approved First Aid Certificate
  • Current approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
  • Sound understanding of the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years
  • Strong Knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), the National Quality framework (NQF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Effective communication skills – with families, staff and children
  • Effective management skills – staff (operational and developmental), administration and financial
  • Effective leadership skills
  • Effective programming skills
  • Effective customer service and sales skills
