The 19th of November will once again be the date of International Men's Day. This day celebrates the positive value men bring to world, their families and communities, men's health, enhancing gender relations, recognizing male role models, and encouraging masculinity in its best forms. This day focuses on that which unites humanity, allowing everyone who wants to celebrate the opportunity to work together, which applies equally to all males irrespective of age, social background, race, beliefs, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

International Men’s Day is celebrated worldwide in approximately 80 countries.

This year’s theme is “Helping Men and Boys”

How can we support this event:

1. Donate to a cause associated with Men’s heath

2. PARTICIPATE IN SPECIAL OCCASIONS, LIKE WOMEN'S DAY

We all recognize and celebrate IWD. With the same enthusiasm that we do International Men's Day.

· Get dressed up and embark on an all-boys outing.

· Reward yourself!

· Enjoy yourself while you're doing it and be in the moment.

3. Raise Awareness on Domestic Abuse

Male victims of DV (Domestic Violence) are also frequently beaten, exposed to parent-child conflict, or victims of sexual assault.

4. Join the Movember Movement

Movember fundraisers are a global community of fired-up Mo Bros and Mo Sisters – aka rock stars making a difference in mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

Check out their website here and see how you can help https://au.movember.com/
